A Bit of Spinning

I love orange. Especially a nice pumpkin orange. I have had my eye on this fiber for a while now. Last week I finally purchased it and played with it. It is a lovely blend of Alpaca & Wool. It is pumpkin with streaks of chocolate.

I spun it up into a 2 ply worsted weight. I think I have around 350 to 400 yards in those two skeins. I think I need another braid (8 oz) and then I'll be in the ball park for a small shrug or lace sweater.

Looks lovely! Are you trying to urge fall to come early? I'm just thinking this summer is nice -- not too hot and not too cool. :)

Lovely photos, again, Christina. Was very tempted to keep the mystery going for a little while longer but thought I had better explain!

Have posted about it today.
