Spring Picnic

One of the traditions of spring is to go for a picnic at the Indianapolis Art Museum Gardens for my birthday. This year we couldn't go the week of my birthday because I was doing wedding flowers. But that turned out for the best. April stayed pretty cool until, Tuesday (April 29) we had an 80 degree day. Thankfully that was the day we had planned to picnic!

Mom held an impromptu watercolor class. John soaked it up. He loves to paint. And then we held an impromptu art show.

There was cake...

And cousins...

And lots of beauty!
It was refreshing and relaxing and full of memories. What a beautiful spring we have this year!

Beautiful! I'm envious of the painting class on the lawn. ;-)
